Music Magic: The Walls of Sound
For the new edition of its festival Drôles de Noëls, the cultural service of the City of Arles has chosen Studio ENORME to sublimate the opening weekend alongside three other companies.
Thus, between stilt walkers, aerial acrobats and confetti throwers, Studio ENORME has designed a unique show in architectural video mapping, projected on the façade of the Town Hall, place de la république during two evenings.
With over 7,000 spectators, the event was greeted by thunderous applause on two consecutive nights.
The trompe-l'oeil
On the façade of the Town Hall, Studio ENORME has concocted a monumental 3D projection composed of musical tableaux featuring a series of spectacular special effects.
The musical score inspired by symphonies and classical music revisited. It evolves progressively, playing with its power and its notes, to animate little by little the architecture of the building.
"Music Magic : Les Murs du son" is a commission from the city of Arles with a completely new scenario for this 10th edition of the Drôles de Noëls festival: the key words will be movement, energy, dynamism, poetry and above all enchantment. A magnificent "trompe-l'oeil" offered to the spectators, a breathtaking illusion with an explosive finale!
